2014 Dental & Optical Mission

In its commitment to serving the community, CKSC Batch 82 hold its second Dental Mission and first Optical Mission at CKSC in Tondo, Manila last Sunday, March 16, 2014. With the presence of 13 volunteer dentists from the Filipino Chinese Dental Foundation Inc., we were able to serve 13 dental patients who qualified for tooth extraction procedure. Registered list of dental patients was 32, however, only 13 dental patients came on said date.

The Optical Mission was made possible with the presence of the Lions Eyeglass Bank Mobile Clinic, whose administrator is our very own George Ong Tan of IV-8. Present during the optical mission were one volunteer optometrist and five volunteer eyeglass technicians. Registered list of optical patients was 60. Optical patients served was 52, conveying the message that the optical mission was popular and a huge success!

CKSC Batch Officers who were present to contribute to the success of our dental and optical mission last Sunday were Amelia ChuaSang-Ting, Joyce Dy, Jocelin See-Lohongko, Melchor Te, Pacifico Tee, Philip Ang, Joseph Tan, Peter Tan Tykan, Pelita Young, Deborah Hong-Ching, Kimball Teng and his daughter Danica, Joseline Yap-Ngo, Shirley Li-Pimentel, Nancy Aurelio, Peter Dee, Belinda Tiu-Tantoco, Evelyn Ramos-Udquin, Purisima Bello  and Edison Sy. Congratulations for a job well done! Till our next community service mission!
